Do you enjoy podcasts as much as we do? Then, this is your post!

Almost everyday I listen to English-language Podcasts while I’m doing chores or any other task/activity that doesn’t require strict concentration.

Here you can find useful podcasts by the BBC; The New York Times, shows that I absolutely love, podcasts where you can learn English, etc.

  • Sh*ged, married, annoyed by the Ramseys on Spotify (50 minute show where you can laugh and enjoy the most north-east English accent ever, a couple talking about their daily lives and interacting with the public)
  • Happy Place by Fearne Cotton (50 minute show where Fearne talks to famous people about life and what happiness means to them, touchy show)
  • Anything goes with Emma Chamberlain (Around 50 minutes, natural show where Emma talks about her thoughts in an intimate and raw tone)
  • TED Talks Daily (Less than 15 minute show, just TED, amazing shows where you can enjoy being curious and learn new things)

  • Grounded with Louis Theroux (Less than 70 minute show where Louis talks to high-profile people from lockdown on) 
  • Desert Island Discs (Less than 40 minute shows where people answer to the questions, what would you take to a desert island)
  • Friday Night Comedy (28 minute show from Radio 4, considered to be the best satirical comedy from Radio 4) 
  • 6 minute Grammar (6 minute grammar reviews) 
  • 6 minute Vocabulary (6 minute vocabulary and pronunciation reviews) 
  • Learning English News Review (Less than 15 minute show, it shows you how to integrate the vocabulary in the news to your everyday speech)
  • The English we Speak (3 minute show where you learn colloquial phrases and vocabulary)
  • Witness History (10 minutes podcasts about historical facts told by people who was there)
  • BBC Learning English Drama (Less than 10 minute show, it tells you dramatic stories, you can learn a lot from them)

  • Modern Love (Less than 30 minute show where people share their genuine love stories)
  • The Daily (Less than 60 minute show where you can listen to news from a different perspective)
  • The Book Review (Less than 70 minute book reviews about the week top authors and books)
  • Rabbit Hole (Less than 30 minute show – there are 6 episodes approx – where Kevin Roose discovers what happens when our lives go online)
  • The Argument (Less than 40 minute show where columnists talk about big questions affecting our lives)

Podcasts I haven’t tried yet but they seem cool:

  • Diálogos en inglés by Amigos Ingleses (Less than 30 minutes, dialogues about daily situations where you get to know English culture and people) 
  • Crash on my Couch by Arden Rose and Will Derbyshire (60 minute show where they talk about crazy questions/situations or random topics to the deepest) 
  • Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster (Less than 200 minute show where these two comedians invite famous people to their magical restaurant to have a great time) 
  • The Joe Rogan Experience (UK’S TOP SHOW. About 130 minute show where Joe, a comedian, interviews famous people for his podcast) 
  • Zane and Heath: Unfiltered (Around 60 minute show, both boys share their thoughts on different topics in an unfiltered way) 
  • Scotland: A Scottish History Podcast by Be Quiet Media (Less than 30 minute show where we can learn a lot about Scottish History) 
  • Unlocking Us with Brené Brown (Less than 70 minute show, a real show that tackles what means to be human though conversations with people who challenged or confused him)
  • Conspiracy Theories by Parcast Network (Less than 60 minute show, the world’s most controversial events and cover-ups)
  • Leo/Virgo/Libra/etc. Today by Parcast Network (3 minute tarot show for the day)
  • The Michelle Obama Podcast (Less than 50 minute show where Michelle talks to loved ones and shares what these relationships mean to her)

Podcasts about Stories:

  • Easy Stories in English by Ariel Goodbody (Less than 30 minute stories where you can learn English naturally)
  • And That’s Why We Drink by Kast Media (Around 130 minute show, every Saturday they share murder and paranormal stories, if you like ghost stories this is your place)
  • Nothing Much Happens by Kathryn Nicolai (Around 30 minute show to help you sleep, bedtime stories to help you relax)
  • Crime Junkie by Audiochuck (Less than 60 minute show where you learn about true crime stories)
